Our History
Midwest Current Transformer builds on the rich history of American manufacturing with over 50 years of experience in the current transformer industry.
The technical support of a full engineering staff has allowed Midwest Current Transformer to respond to industry needs and challenges over the years. Our transformers have always been built in Minnesota and originally supplied local distributors and equipment manufacturers, hence the name Midwest Current Transformer.
Midwest Current Transformer became part of the Anderson Engineering family in 1992. Since then our market has expanded to all over the United States as well as globally.
Increased engineering support has allowed us to specialize in building transformers to customer specifications and delivering those transformers quickly. From power generation to oil field equipment to control equipment to ground fault protection, current transformers are at the heart of industry and equipment operation. As industries evolve, so too must the components of that industry. Midwest Current Transformer continues to be dedicated to client satisfaction and product innovation.
