Midwest Ring Current Transformer RC, SC and CT Series

Our toroidal RC and CT series current transformers are used in multiple applications including for protection, metering, and current monitoring. Each of these current transformers is built with a strong M4 electrical grade steel core.

The RC and SC series transformers are wrapped with copper magnetic wire inside of a black polycarbonate case. The CT series current transformers are wrapped with fiberglass insulating tape and immersed in a poly resin for protection. The RC transformer series equipment is manufactured with 2 foot long lead wires. The SC and CT transformer series equipment includes 2 foot long lead wires or screw terminals. The donut current transformer we offer in the SC, RC and CT series is UL recognized, CSA approved, and conforms to the requirements of IEEE/ANSI C57.13 and Rohs.
